These are great cookies to enjoy during the fasting seasons of the church or just a delicious low cholesterol alternative to your regular chocolate-chip cookies:
2 1/2 cups of flour
3/4 cup of white sugar
1 cup of brown sugar
4 teaspoons of applesauce
2 sticks of butter (or 2 sticks of margarine for seyami)
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 bag of milk chocolate chips (1 bag of semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips for seyami)
Mix all ingredients together into cookie dough.
Heat oven to 365 degrees Fahrenheit.
Bake for 10 minutes, let cool for 5. Enjoy!
